Jasper sits at the center of Dubois County, a tight community where word travels fast and neighbors know each other by name. For years, that closeness cut both ways for parents of kids with autism. Everyone could point you toward a good pediatrician. Almost nobody could point you toward a full academic school built around how their child actually learns.
Total Care Learning Academy changed that. We are a separate program from the Total Care ABA therapy clinic already serving Jasper families, though we share the same clinical foundation. Our Jasper campus is a full-day school. Your child studies math, reading, science, and social studies here, taught by educators trained specifically in autism, with BCBAs and RBTs working inside the classroom instead of scheduled around it.
Families drive in from Dubois, Pike, Daviess, and Spencer counties because the nearest comparable program used to mean a two-hour trip to Indianapolis or Evansville. Jasper families do not have to make that drive anymore.
Our campus sits within easy reach of downtown Jasper and the Highway 231 corridor, just minutes from Jasper Middle School and the Vincennes University Jasper campus. Visitor parking is on site, and a member of our admissions team walks every family in personally on tour day.

From there, you tour the Jasper campus, meet the team, and we run a brief assessment to find the right fit before your child's first day.

It is a full-day academic school. We are connected to Total Care ABA, the therapy clinic also serving Jasper, but Total Care Learning Academy is its own place, built to feel like school, not a clinic.
Ages 5 through 17. That range is intentional. Families can stay with us for the long haul instead of restarting the search for a new placement every few years.
The clinic delivers therapy sessions. The Academy delivers a full academic day, math, reading, science, and social studies, taught by autism-specialized educators with BCBAs and RBTs embedded in the classroom.
